About the Artist

Born in Mississippi, Natreka started drawing at a very young age and won her very first art competition at the age of 9. As a U.S. Navy veteran, she kept drawing throughout her time in the Navy which helped her to pass the time during deployments at sea. She fell in love with painting later in life and painting people has become her passion. Working towards hyperrealism, Natreka strives to bring forth the details as a realism portrait artist. She feels it is important to depict people as they are presented to her.
